We are thrilled to have secured funding from Curious Minds and The Lathums (Wigan's indie rock band chart toppers!) for our Leigh Young Writers project in 2025.
The Chance To See Fund will allow young people to come to Leigh Young Writers and learn from a range of Northern professional creatives, writers and illustrators, including upcoming writers from Young Identity, Writers Squad and Writing on the Wall. We are inviting creatives with experience of neurodiversity or who have overcome anxiety and other life challenges to share their inspiration to make work, with young people in Leigh.
Leigh Young Writers is based at Leigh Youth Hub and is for young people aged 12-19. It's FREE to take part. Sessions are run fortnightly 7pm-8.30pm, led by Natasha Tingle and Louise Fazackerley. To book a space or find out more, email: louisethepoet@live.co.uk
